The perfect ceramic coat customer is looking to keep the car for a minimum of three to five years, potentially longer, who wants to keep their investment looking as good as it possibly can. The car does not need to be exotica, or rare, or a red-light-dragstrip hero- it's about what you chose, and how Labrum can transform it- even the point of delivery from the dealership to you!
If you are a "flipper" and change your vehicle every year or so, then perhaps the benefits and satisfaction received from the process of ceramic coating your car will be negated by the next purchase coming down the line. We understand!
What is a ceramic coating anyway?
In short, this is a permanent UV resistant coating applied to all surfaces of your car including paint, glass and all plastics. Preparation is key. Your car must be free from waxes, any residual polishes, grease, oil and other contamination that will affect the outcome of the final process- the application of the coat itself.
ALL of our ceramic coating packages are not limited to paint; we also use specific interior coatings to protect your seats, with other versions of the product available carpets and trim, rims and brake calipers (to withstand temperatures of up to 800c)
Why is it so expensive?
You get what you pay for!
As with all things, there are plenty of options in the market to choose from. The dealership that delivers the car will have an array of products to try and up-sell you as part of the sales process, and there are numerous people on social media pages and YouTube offering to do the job, at prices that simply cannot be matched.
We are not in a position to comment on anyone else's work. What we stand for is our own experience with the products we recommend and apply, over many many years of time-tested processes and procedures to offer a vehicle back to you that should absolutely surpass all expectations.
Cutting corners is not something we do, hence the time we need your vehicle for, and the duration in which we work. We do not do this in en masse and we do not need to meet any deadlines for the next vehicle to arrive. It's by our timeframes, and to our standards.
Will this add value to my car?

As much as we would like to suggest this is a sure-fire way to up the value of your vehicle, in fact, it is YOU, the current owner, who stands to benefit from the procedure being completed, to the Labrum standard. Deep, permanent gloss, hydrophobicity, UV resistance and, most of all, a far easier car to wash and care for. Let us do the hard yards to make your continued enjoyment of the car that much simpler!
One of the best examples of how good these coatings is for those who have to park their cars on the street. More often than not, bat and or bird droppings can absolutely ruin paint, due to the phosphorus content within. When a car is ceramic coated, the droppings cannot penetrate the barrier the ceramic coating provides, and with a splash from your water bottle all offending articles should simply slide off.

What if I buy all the tools and watch a few YouTube videos?
Sure, and who are we to stop you?
If you're on the fence with this sort of decision and feel you can execute this procedure yourself, then by all means, we will not change your mind!
We do get the occasional car that is given to us to either finish the work done, or to remove what has been applied and start again. While will always be happy to do the work that requires finishing, weigh up your options in time, cost and result. We're always happy to chat with you if you need some advice, and we certainly are not here to over-sell anything to you.
Fear tactics are never the right way to generate business, however, if the end result and your satisfaction form any part of your reasons to have your car coated, just be totally confident and willing to commit to the process- this is going to take multiple hours of your time, patience and energy!

Buyer beware!
The anticipation of signing your life away on a new vehicle, with all of the accessories, tint, floor mats and now paint protection packages makes it all adrenalin-fuelled self (and quick) gratification. Simply ask whomever is selling you the package as to what products are being used, and Google them for yourself. Be 100% confident in what is actually being applied to your car and the processes that are being implemented to do so. Put it this way- if every dealer was spending between 10-20 hours on every car that required preparation, decontamination and application for a permanent ceramic coat, their deliveries would be backlogged for many many weeks indeed.
